Our Connection Story

A cold December day searching for that perfect sentiment to give to a friend whom I respect and admire.  Someone I aspire to be more like.  As I searched the cards at the bookstore, I was struck by how many are very specific- woman to woman, man to woman, and woman to man.  There seemed to be a gap in the Men-to-Men cards.  I get it, most men do not write cards, but almost all like to receive a well timed-and intended note.  It is universal that we all want to be recognized and appreciated.   We all want to be seen as we want to be.  

 

In this instant, I thought of all the barriers to male communication, the reason why there were no Men to Men cards more commercially available.  It was a problem that was deeper than just the cards themselves, but it presented an opportunity for sure.
